The Henry's is a novel in the works. I have decided to add it to my website as an ongoing 'journal' type post to transition myself from merely thinking about the next chapter, to actually writing it. Obviously what you'll read on these pages will change over time, and your comments about the story, context, grammar or any errors you may see are greatly appreciated - For all intents and purposes you are my surrogate editors. Of course, positive feedback it also welcome!

And now a little bit about the story.

The Henry's is a science fiction genre novel about the unfolding tale of one particular 'Henry'. In our story set in the somewhat distant future space faring humans are finding deceased clones at random intervals on their journeys. Some appear in space, others are found on planets - or moons, but all are the same man, and all are dead.

Who is this person? Why are they scattered throughout the galaxy? Who is responsible for them, and their state of being? The answers to these questions start to materialize when something unprecedented happens...

The lift stopped on deck two and the doors receded in a wash of brilliant light. This entire deck was reserved for scientific research. There were fifteen different labs spread out strategically across the space, all so very well spaced according to the types of tools one might need for a particular task. Straight ahead of him Perry could see his destination, the control desk and airlock to space dock where SARA was bringing the object aboard.
